AMD COFFEE CHAT
On November 10th, 2022, WiE organized a Coffee Chat with AMD in collaboration with IEEE CSTMC!
In this amazing event, students had the opportunity to network with current co-op students and AMD professionals!
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM 101
On October 26th, 2022, our group organized an opportunity to learn more about our Mentorship program!
This event was open to all women in the engineering of all years and took place virtually for everyone's convenience
resume & c.v workshop
For all students applying to co-ops or new grad positions, the group hosted an event on October 25th, 2022 to learn how to make their resume stand out as a woman in engineering and have their resume reviewed at this workshop in collaboration with TMU Career & Co-op Centre!
INDUSTRY NIGHT
On April 4th, 2022, the group WiE hosted an Industry Night.
An evening of networking with professionals from various companies!
Excelling in Academia
WiE hosted an event on March 8, 2022 to highlight the accomplishments of faculty members on International Women’s Day!
Students got a chance to learn about the experiences of the faculty in academia, grew their network, collect some WiE merch and grab some dinner!
EngOut and TMU WiE organized an event hosted on February 10, 2022, wanting to help students to adjust in the smoothest way possible!
Resources and tips to stay safe on campus were shared, as well as resources that students can use to make sure that they are ready to transition to life downtown.

AMD Interns
On January 25, 2022, TMU WiE in collaboration with AMD and IEEE CSRC hosted another Day in the Life and this time with AMD interns!
Students had the chance to learn about more fields in the engineering industry and hear some great tips from AMD interns and network with them!
A Day in the life: woman in tech
On December 2nd, 2021, Ryerson WiE and Intuit co-hosted a panel of women sharing their experiences as women in tech!
In addition, attendees got to hear from a tech recruiter on best resume practices and how to ace their interviews.

Gannett Flemming, an incredible company known for its inclusive environment and community involvement co-hosted a panel with Ryerson WiE on November 9th, 2021.
We heard from amazing panelists about their experiences as women at a civil engineering company!

On October 28th, 2021, Ryerson WiE was happy to invite professionals from a recognized leader in the civil engineering industry - Kenaidan!
We learnt more about the company work environment from a Project Engineer, a Site Super, and an HR Recruiter.

Connecting with peers was no longer a problem for first years after this social!
October 12th, 2021 was Ryerson WiE's first social event with FYEO welcoming first years in a night full of fun and games! This was an event for all women-identifying individuals.

In collaboration with Ryerson Formula Racing, Ryerson WiE brought together women in engineering from 6 different design teams at Ryerson to showcase the contributions they have made to Ryerson's various design teams.
This event happened on September 15th, 2021 and was open to all!
Women in academia
On March 11th, 2021, Ryerson WiE hosted an exciting panel to celebrate and highlight the accomplishments of women in academia at Ryerson University.
With 3 incredible and inspiring professors from the faculty of engineering and architectural science, this was a night to remember!
