MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
WHY WE STARTED THE PROGRAM
We started this program so we could create a safe space for our fellow Women in Engineering and allow women to discuss and overcome the unique challenges that come with being a Woman in a field that is largely dominated by Men.
This specific mentorship program is focused on allowing mentors and mentees to create a one-to-one relationship, in order to ensure a smoother transition from high-school to university and allow mentees to tap into existing knowledge skills and experiences. This is all done with the intention of helping to increase the retention and success rate of women in their undergraduate experience.
THE MAIN FOCUS
HOW ARE PAIRS MADE?
Mentors and Mentees are primarily matched by discipline and/or the priorities of both individuals. We will be hosting virtual meetings in order to make sure the match is compatible and beneficial in the long run.
